What we collect

The Outline Builder runs entirely in your browser and does not send your topic or answers to us. If you subscribe to our email list, we store your email address only to send you the emails you asked for.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are read, which buttons are clicked (including clicks on affiliate links and email sign-ups) and whether the Outline Builder is used. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser. We do not send the text you type into our tools to Google Analytics. Google’s use of this data is governed by its own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or by blocking cookies.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in each email, or ask us to delete your data.

Form submissions

When you submit a form on this site (expert help, hire a writer, contact or email sign-up), we record the details you enter together with your IP address, approximate location derived from it (country, region, city, postal code, timezone and approximate coordinates), your network provider, your device and browser information (user agent and language), the page you submitted from, and how you first arrived at the site (first landing page, original referrer and any campaign parameters such as UTM tags or a Google Ads click ID, stored in your browser’s local storage). We use this information to respond to and manage your request and to prevent spam and abuse. Submissions are delivered to our team by email through our email provider, Resend.
